The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in collaboration with CISCO, is calling for applications from interested individuals across Nigeria to participate in a free online cybersecurity training program.
This initiative is organized in celebration of October Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2025, a global campaign dedicated to promoting cybersecurity awareness and building the capacity of individuals to stay safe and secure in the digital space.
This training is part of NITDA’s continuous effort to strengthen Nigeria’s digital ecosystem, empower its citizens with essential technological skills, and support the development of a cybersecurity-aware society.
By partnering with CISCO, a world leader in networking and cybersecurity technologies, NITDA is providing a unique opportunity for Nigerians to gain globally recognized knowledge and skills in cybersecurity.
About the Program
The NITDA-CISCO Cybersecurity Training Program is designed to help participants understand the fundamentals of cybersecurity, the importance of cyber hygiene, and practical steps to protect individuals and organizations from cyber threats.
Participants will gain insights into how to identify, prevent, and respond to cyberattacks and learn about the latest trends, tools, and technologies shaping the cybersecurity landscape.
